The local Nissan dealership installed a “refurbished” CVT at a cost of about $5,000 paid for by my own purchased warranty, Nissan did not pay a pennny! I have a 2012 Nissan Rogue and my transmission is completely out..I took it to the Nissan dealership and they want to charge 3,999.99 + tax to replace it. 2013 77k miles (bought extended warranty for 75k miles and 3 years- this happened at 77k miles) the car stalled and would not accelerate – the RPMs went way up to 6 and it just slowed to a crawl like 5 miles an hour in Atlanta rush hour traffic- almost got killed trying to get off road. I don’t have $4,000 either to put into a transmission.
Really? A class action lawsuit claiming that the 2013 Nissan Rogue vehicle has a defective transmission has been removed to federal court. My transmission had to be replaced in my 2013 Nissan Rogue. I was driving to work and my transmission went out the rpm went up 6rpms and dropped and back to 6 again. status of any class action settlement claim. I’m SO frustrated!! I have a 2013 Nissan Rogue with the same problems.
