Elevation Worship’s The Blessing was recently requested several times in the same week, in part because it addresses the current COVID-19 crisis. I just finished The Blessing Way by Tony Hillerman. 499 pgs, the thrillers are: I, The Blessing Way (1970); II, Dance Hall of the Dead (1973), and III, Listening Woman (1978).
I look forward to experiencing more of the early series as well as some of Hillerman's later books.

This is the first book I have read and it totally stood alone and I was able to keep up with all of the characters, and they are quite the characters.
