Cavalier Zoysia is a emerald green, fine bladed lawn grass.Developed by Texas A&M University, Cavalier Zoysia is very similar to Emerald Zoysia.
The main differences are Cavalier is a little softer, not quite as dark green of color, grows a little faster and is not as cold tolerant when compared to Emerald. Usually for us in the Houston area and Southeast Texas, I would say early March is probably a fairly safe bet.
